Introduction

The StrateGis Urban Developer is a user friendly software system combining the benefits of 3D modeling, such as visualization and communication, with fast automatic urban plan calculations and estimations. StrateGis has developed a software system which can be adapted and customized for our clients.

Strategis Interactive Developer

Currently the StrateGis Urban Developer supports more than 10 calculation models ranging from estimate of land development, land use, real estate planning to sustainability issues. The tool can be customized to the specific needs, of our clients for instance by incorporating their own calculation models or data sources.

The tool is based on Google’s popular Sketchup™ and therefore integrates seamlessly with Google Earth™.

Saxion Universities of applied sciences

StrateGis has developed an interactive tool for the students of Saxion. It allows students to model urban plans while the calculation model gives direct feedback on the financial impacts. Students have to develop urban plans by drawing them in Sketchup and input the necessary information using the StrateGis Urban Developer User interfaces. A specific calculation engine uses this input to give direct feedback to the students on financial issues.
